Role Overview
This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity reporting into our Senior Warehouse Logistics & Fulfilment Manager, working alongside three other day leaders. You’ll be joining a team of circa 100 based in our Perivale site with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern to cover both shifts.
What we will expect from you
Take full operational responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift
Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging productivity and quality targets
Effectively lead, develop and manage our night team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging ideas and involvement from all, to improve employee engagement
Communicate effectively with senior management, providing updates and insight
Drive an agenda for change including system and productivity monitoring improvements
Lead continuous improvement activity
What you need to succeed at Space NK
Previous warehouse logistics experience as a Shift Manager in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan a warehouse operation
Excellent people skills - the ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success, particularly from your direct reports.
