We’re looking for a reliable Strapper Operator to join our sawmill team. Position Summary
The Strapper Operator is responsible for operating strapping machines to secure lumber bundles according to company and safety standards. This position ensures product stability, supports production flow, and helps maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate automatic or manual strapping machines to secure lumber bundles

Inspect bundles for proper alignment, size, and stability before strapping

Adjust strap tension and placement to meet quality and safety standards

Replace strapping materials and perform minor equipment maintenance

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues

Assist with stacking, organizing, and staging finished product

Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols
