Night-shift TAC Officer (PT)
Summary
Supervises and mentors cadet development, discipline, and safety during night shifts at a military college.
Georgia Military College Main Campus announces the immediate opening for an in-person part-time, night-shift Tactical Officer (TAC) position reporting to the Senior TAC Officer for the Commandant's Office. TACs are responsible for supervising the character development, discipline, Cadet accountability, room standards and maintenance, safety, training, retention, extra-curricular activities, health and welfare, and good order and discipline of Georgia Military College (GMC) Junior College (JC) cadets. TAC Officers also act as mentors for the JC Cadets, supervising study habits and monitoring overall academic standards, academic progress, and providing support and guidance as needed. TACs are responsible for Teaching, Mentoring, Advising, and Counseling Junior College Cadets. As a team member of the Commandant’s Team, assist in recruiting through discussions with prospective cadets and their parents.
This position will pay $12 per hour and work up to 19 hours per week.
