Bill Dodge Auto Group is a family-owned automotive group, proudly serving our communities for over 50 years. We are currently seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing team.

Compensation: $49,000-$125,000 annually

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and the applicable pay plan. Depending on experience and the needs of the business, technicians may be compensated on either an hourly or flat-rate basis. Flat-rate compensation rewards productivity and provides experienced technicians with the opportunity to earn at the higher end of the posted compensation range.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for qualified candidates

What You'll Do

  • Perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Repair and maintain engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
  • Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional service needs
  • Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Accurately document repairs, recommendations, and completed work
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check
  • Valid State of Maine Inspection License
  • Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE Certifications
  • OEM Manufacturer Certifications
  • Previous dealership experience
