NOC Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive NOC Engineer- Managed Services responsible for monitoring and managing IT infrastructure, including systems, servers, and network environments. The role involves handling alerts, providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, performing patch management activities, and ensuring operational stability through continuous monitoring and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage system, server, and network alerts using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Perform initial troubleshooting, incident diagnosis, and escalation when required.
• Execute and track Windows and Linux server patch management activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance.
• Support basic network troubleshooting including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain operational documentation, incident records, and compliance with SLA requirements.
• Participate in shift-based operations and on-call support as required.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, SCOM, Nagios, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.
• Experience with patch management tool SCCM/OPManager/BMC and system maintenance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer support skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Linux, CCNA, or ITIL are an advantage.
• Minimum 6 Years experience
• Must be available in Qatar with Transferable Visa.
• Ready to work in Shifts (Preferably Male)
