Working within an agile network operations center, you will handle complex challenges across virtualization, cloud, storage, and server platforms stepping in where L1 leaves off and partnering with L3 and principal vendors to maintain mission-critical uptime.

Why Join Us?

  • Technical Growth: Gain hands-on exposure to a diverse, enterprise-grade tech stack encompassing VMware, Sangfor, Hyper-V, AWS/Azure, enterprise storage, and bare-metal hardware (HPE/Dell/Cisco).

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Expand your influence by mentoring L1 engineers, driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and contributing to knowledge base optimization.

  • Impact & Ownership: Play a front-row role in managing High Availability (HA) systems, Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols, and complex service architecture for core operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Second-Level Technical Support: Act as the direct L2 escalation point for incidents from NOC L1, ensuring rapid service restoration and adherence to stringent SLAs.

  • Advanced Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Perform end-to-end diagnostics across Windows Server, Linux distributions, virtualized platforms, cloud connectivity, SAN/NAS storage, and server hardware.

  • Proactive Monitoring & System Health: Monitor infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and platform stability using enterprise tools like Zabbix and PRTG.

  • Change & Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute approved system configuration changes, OS patching, firmware upgrades, and routine Preventive Maintenance (PM).

  • Problem & Incident Management: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major or recurring incidents; draft comprehensive RCA reports and incident reviews.

  • Vendor & Escalation Management: Coordinate complex hardware/software issues with L3 engineers, vendor TAC support, and field engineers for onsite hardware replacements.

  • Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement: Guide and upskill NOC L1 engineers while maintaining up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Technical Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • OS & Core Services: Deep technical knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server Failover Clustering.

  • Virtualization Platforms: Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Sangfor HCI, or Microsoft Hyper-V.

  • Enterprise Hardware & Storage: Familiarity with rack/blade server hardware (HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, Cisco UCS), enterprise SAN/NAS storage arrays, and enterprise backup/recovery solutions.

  • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure: Exposure to major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for VM management, IaaS provisioning, and hybrid connectivity solutions.

  • Monitoring & Analytics: Practical experience utilizing monitoring and performance analysis tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Resiliency & Troubleshooting: Strong grasp of server redundancy, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) design concepts, and system performance log analysis (Event Viewer, syslog, performance counters).

  • Linux Expertise (Bonus): Hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting (RHEL, Ubuntu, Rocky/CentOS) is highly advantageous.

Requirements & Experience

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of progressive experience in IT Server Support, Infrastructure Operations, NOC, or Enterprise Systems Deployment.

  • Certifications (Preferred): Professional certifications such as VMware VCP, MCSE/Windows Server, AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator, or Linux (RHCSA) will be given strong preference.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written technical communication skills, and a calm, structured approach to incident escalation.
