NOC Support Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated NOC Support Engineer to join our team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of our Windows Servers, applications, and network devices. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability and reliability of our IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include monitoring CPU, memory, disk utilization, and server availability using various monitoring tools. You will respond to critical alerts and alarms, performing L1-level troubleshooting for Windows Server-related issues. Additionally, you will check Windows services and restart them as necessary according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). As a NOC Support Engineer, you will monitor server disk space, connectivity, and performance, while also performing basic troubleshooting for RDP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and other connectivity issues. You will be responsible for creating and updating incidents in the ITSM/ticketing tool, following defined SLAs and escalation procedures. Unresolved or critical issues will need to be escalated to L2/L3 teams. You will also monitor backup jobs, report failures, and maintain daily monitoring and shift handover reports. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will coordinate with server, network, application, and other support teams. Adherence to SOPs and proper documentation is essential. The position may require participation in 24x7 rotational shifts, including night shifts and weekends. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
