Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Nocturnist - Hospitalist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds and is a community hospital dedicated to serving the health needs of all New Yorkers. Since opening in 1976, North Central Bronx has offered outstanding care for women’s health services, as well as primary care, pediatrics, and specialty ambulatory services. Opportunity Details:
- Full-Time position in a group of 3 with scheduling flexibility.
- Primary responsibility for the care and management of patients admitted to the General Medicine Service, but remaining in the emergency department awaiting a bed, with consultation provided by specialists as necessary.
- Provides Attending oversight to the medicine service supervising trainees and responding to clinical changes and emergencies.
- Spends 100% of time in clinical activities, including supervision of residents and clinical projects.
