Node.js Backend Developer

Build and maintain scalable Node.js microservices in TypeScript for a K–12 math platform, integrating with MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, and AWS.

On-site role
We expect candidates to visit our office 4 days a week.
What you’ll work with
- TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS
- MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ
- AWS and microservices
- Lots of integrations (we do that a lot)
- Mix of greenfield and legacy systems (nothing scary)
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend services
- Work within ourmicroservices architecture, handling bothmaintenanceandgreenfield projects
- Optimize, maintain, and continuously improve existing systems while building new features
- Take ownership of the solutions you create, from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with PMs, QAs, and other developers to create the best experience for our users
What we’re looking for
- A proven track record in software engineering with a history of impactful contributions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, efficient code
