Node.js Developer
You will design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications for trading infrastructure. You will help implement and optimize algorithms and data-processing pipelines, participate in code reviews, improve software quality and performance, and debug issues and bottlenecks. You will stay current with Node.js and quantitative-finance tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications for trading infrastructure
- Assist with implementing and optimizing algorithms and data-processing pipelines
- Participate in code reviews and improve software quality and performance
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and suggest efficient solutions
- Stay current with Node.js development and quantitative-finance trends, tools, and technologies
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js development and server-side JavaScript
- Have experience with WebSocket real-time communication
- Work proficiently with Redis for caching and data storage
- Be familiar with Bee-Queue or similar job-queue systems
- Understand object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications
- Have experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Use version-control systems such as Git
- Know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Be familiar with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
- Demonstrate problem-solving and debugging skills
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
