We are seeking shuttle drivers to work at a facility in Atlantis, FL. These are steady, local routes at JFK Hospital. We operate newer 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL.

Currently, we are seeking a driver available for PT Weekends 10:30am-3:30pm both Saturday and Sundays.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
  • Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
  • Opening and closing doors for patrons
  • Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
  • Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
  • Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
  • Recording passenger counts and trip times
  • Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
  • Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)
  • Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
  • Filling in as a lot attendant when needed
  • Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
  • Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations

Hours

Hours will vary as a new schedule is published weekly. However, a typical part-time worker can expect to work either early mornings or afternoons with some variance

License required: valid class E (Non-CDL) license in good standing

A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical).

Professional driving experience is a plus.

Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.

Due to insurance regulations, Shuttle Drivers must be 20 years old, and have at least 3 years of licensed driving experience in the US.
