Non-Destructive Tester Leader

About the Position: Located at The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant as a Non-Destructive Tester Leader. Serves as Working Leader of 3 or more employees in accomplishing nondestructive testing. The highest level of non-supervisory work led is Nondestructive Tester WG-3705-11.

Serves as Working Leader of 3 or more employees in accomplishing nondestructive testing.

Passes on to other workers instructions received form supervisor and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led).

Insures that needed plans, blueprints, material and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations.

Performs non-film x-ray, on component cables, projectiles, bombs, fuzes, fuze components, motor tubes and related explosive contents.
