Job Description Summary

NEO (do not need EMT certification), under general supervision, and in accordance with Medical Control Board’s policy, procedure and protocol, performs specific tasks required for the effective and efficient care of behavioral health patients in a pre-hospital setting and/or intra-facility transfers; as an operator of a Basic Life Support/Non-Emergency Secure and Safe SUV. Exhibits courteous and professional behavior while interacting with co-workers, patients, families, health care professionals, and public safety personnel. Promotes and maintains a smooth working relationship between management and employees. Operates and maintains company equipment in a safe and professional manner. These transfers will receive security escorts in and out of the vehicle.



Patient Care and Documentation1. Reviews daily agenda of pre-scheduled calls, locates address on map, if time permits.2. Transports patients and/or parcels according to schedule.3. Works expediently to ensure availability of resources in order to maximize utilization and productivity.4. Produces accurate, legible, and complete documentation on all runs.5. Maintains designated vehicle in a clean manner inside and outside.6. Completes a check out list daily, before driving vehicle.

May access protected health information and other patient information only to the extent that is necessary to complete job duties.

Competitive Pay and Benefits with the following Shift Differentials

  • Monday-Thursday 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. $4.00 per hour
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. $5.00 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. $4.00 per hour
