Non-Emergency Transportation Driver

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Non-Emergency Transportation Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing safe and timely transportation for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.

Responsibilities:

· Pick up clients from home or other living facilities using company provided wheelchair accessible minivan. Provides the assistance required to safely board clients and caregivers.

· Transports clients to and from approved pick-up location and destination within the Metropolitan area.

· Checks the van to ensure that no personal items are left behind.

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations regarding non-emergency transportation.

· Operate mobile devices, mobile software system, and operate GPS unit.

· Immediately reports traffic accidents to dispatcher, requesting police or ambulance service as needed.

· Communicate transport details with Dispatch.

· Pre- and post-vehicle safety and maintenance checks.

· Other functions may be assigned.
