We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within mechanical design, product development and innovation.

What you will work on
You will have a varied role, collaborating closely with experienced engineers and the production team:

• Create and update 2D and 3D drawings (CAD)

• Contribute to technical documentation and production drawings

• Participate in product development, improvement and innovation

• Support prototyping, testing, and verification activities

• Collaborate with production to ensure practical and efficient solutions

• Contribute to improvements in design, quality, and cost

• Take part in smaller projects and gradually take on more responsibility

Who you are

• You typically have 3–5 years of experience, but recent graduates with strong motivation to learn are also encouraged to apply

• You hold an education in mechanical engineering, technical drafting (draftsman) or a related field (technical college or bachelor’s degree)

• You have experience with CAD and PDM systems (preferred Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, or similar)

• You are passionate about technical solutions, product development and innovation

• You preferably some practical, hands-on experience

• You have good communication skills in both Norwegian and English

The position is based at our headquarters in Holmestrand and primarily requires daily on-site presence. You will report to the Engineering Manager.
