Job Description: Legal Executive (IPR & Litigation)

Experience: 2–3 Years
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) matters, with primary focus on Copyright.
• Liaise and coordinate with external Advocates and Solicitors for IPR matters across India.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents, agreements, notices, and pleadings.
• Support and manage Civil and Criminal litigation matters, including:
  • Civil suits
  • Copyright and infringement suits
  • Writ Petitions
  • Summary suits
  • Criminal cases
• Attend court proceedings and prepare detailed reports of hearings and outcomes.
• Prepare pleadings in consultation with Advocates and/or vet pleadings received from Advocates/Solicitors.
• Provide periodic legal updates and case status reports to the Management.
• Maintain proper documentation, case records, and legal MIS.

Qualifications & Skills:

• LL.B./LLM from a recognized university.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in litigation and IPR matters.
• Working knowledge of court procedures, drafting, and legal research.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation tools.

Preferred Profile:

• Prior experience working with law firms or corporate legal departments.
• Exposure to copyright enforcement and infringement matters.
