# NPD Manager (Skincare) ## Job Summary The New Product Development (NPD) Manager will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for skincare, haircare, and personal care products. This role involves managing product formulation, testing, packaging, and commercialization, with strong ownership of manufacturing partnerships and execution. The NPD Manager will coordinate closely with R&D teams, contract manufacturers, external labs, and vendors to ensure timely and successful product launches in a fast-paced startup environment. ## Responsibilities - Lead the entire product development process from concept and formulation through testing, stability, and launch. - Manage coordination with contract manufacturers, R&D teams, external laboratories, and vendors. - Oversee NPD calendars, timelines, and ensure end-to-end project execution. - Handle product costing, cost of goods sold (COGS), quality assurance, and regulatory documentation. - Manage stakeholder relationships, vendor contracting, and operational execution. - Drive product commercialization efforts with strong ownership and accountability. ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetology, Chemistry, or a related field. - 5–7 years of experience in product development within beauty, skincare, haircare, or personal care industries. - Hands-on experience in product formulation, testing, stability studies, and product launch. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables. - Knowledge of product costing, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent stakeholder management and vendor contracting skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment. ## Preferred Skills - Experience working with contract manufacturers and external labs. - Strong operational execution capabilities. - Familiarity with manufacturing partnerships and product commercialization processes. ## Experience - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product development within the personal care, skincare, or haircare sectors. - Proven track record of managing end-to-end product development projects. ## Environment - Location: Gurgaon (Gurugram), Haryana, India - Work setting: Fast-paced startup environment requiring strong ownership and adaptability.
