NPI Process Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

●NPI Process Ownership & Yield Ramp – 70%

1. Develop and validate robust manufacturing processes aligned with specifications.
2. Lead cross-functional troubleshooting and data-driven improvement for NPI issues.
3. Manage successful handover to mass production.
4. Release validation reports, SOPs, and process deliverables.

●Automation Project Deployment – 20%

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deploy full-cycle automation projects for efficiency improvement.

●Special Assignments – 10%

Support specific projects as required.

Qualification & Requirements

●Technical Skills: Proficient in 8D/6 Sigma and root cause analysis; proven track record in complex process R&D breakthroughs and yield ramp-ups.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic /Electrical /Optical /Telecommunications Engineering or related.
• A minimum of 5 years of end-to-end NPI project delivery experience in the mid-to-high volume consumer electronics or opto-electronics manufacturing industry. Candidates with R&D design background are strongly preferred.

●Language: Fluent in English and Mandarin.

●Soft Skills: Results-oriented, analytical, proactive, and logical with strong multi-tasking abilities.

●Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for cross-functional, global teams and vendor management.
