NPU Firmware Engineer Command Processor

You will design the Command Processor firmware architecture and roadmap. You will develop firmware for Zephyr RTOS and Embedded Linux, optimize command processing and NPU execution paths, implement ARM SVE neural-network operations, monitor performance and power, and lead silicon bring-up and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design the Command Processor firmware architecture and technical roadmap
• Develop firmware for Zephyr RTOS and Embedded Linux
• Design and optimize command-stream processing, core-dispatch, synchronization, and completion paths
• Implement and optimize neural-network operations using SIMD and ARM SVE
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize system performance and power
• Lead silicon bring-up and post-silicon debugging
• Coordinate firmware technical direction with hardware, compiler, runtime, and kernel-driver groups

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of embedded or firmware development experience
• Deep understanding of ARM architecture, including SIMD, memory hierarchy, and bus systems
• ARM firmware development expertise, including ARM SVE experience
• Experience developing for Zephyr or an equivalent RTOS and Embedded Linux
• System-level testing, verification, and issue-analysis skills
• Ability to use low-level debugging tools including JTAG, Trace32, logic analyzers, and ARM trace tools
• Experience setting technical direction and owning results in multi-engineer projects
