Manage digital learning platforms, websites and reporting systems that support First Nations maternal and child health services.

About the Position
As the NSU Systems Manager, you will lead the procurement, implementation, maintenance and support of the program's Online Learning Environment (OLE), website and reporting systems. You will develop and manage digital platforms that support training, communication and knowledge sharing across participating organisations, while ensuring systems are secure, accessible and aligned with Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles. The role will also design and maintain Power BI dashboards, automated reporting tools and workflows to support program monitoring and decision-making. Working closely with internal stakeholders, implementing sites, CDU service areas and external suppliers, you will provide technical support, system administration and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance user experience and program effectiveness.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification in information technology, systems administration, web or learning technologies, or a related discipline, with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience procuring, implementing and administering learning management systems, online learning environments, websites or content management systems, including vendor liaison and licensing management.
  • Proven experience in systems administration, maintenance and support, including user access management, security, updates and technical issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing and maintaining interactive dashboards, automated reports and workflows using Power BI, Power BI Pro, Power Automate and related tools.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and multiple data sources to support reporting, monitoring, automation and business intelligence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience providing end-user technical support, troubleshooting issues, delivering training and developing user resources and documentation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, suppliers and service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, with a commitment to cultural safety and Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles.

Desirable

  • Experience working within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector, health sector or tertiary education environment.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, cybersecurity requirements and common OLE and website platforms such as Moodle, Canvas or WordPress.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies, including SharePoint, Excel and Dataverse.


Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Research Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $116,429 – $137,659 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $136,221 - $161,061 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
