NUCLEAR MECHANICAL SYSTEMS INSPECTOR (SHIPS) LEADER
You will serve as a NUCLEAR MECHANICAL SYSTEMS INSPECTOR (SHIPS) LEADER in the NUCLEAR INSPECTION DIVISION (Code 139) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
You will pass along instructions from supervisors and work alongside other inspectors.
You will demonstrate proper work methods and ensure that needed plans, materials and tools are available.
You will answer questions about procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives and technical documents.
You will inspect work both while in progress and upon completion to ensure that all requirements have been met.
You will perform receipt inspection, pre-use inspection, and marking inspection on naval nuclear material to ensure proper material control and traceability.
You will identify, document, and report any system deficiencies found on the nuclear systems.
You will ensure reactor grade cleanliness by performing surveillance inspections throughout the build process and then completing a final inspection prior to final system closure.
You will inspect and complete safety checks of all project work sites to ensure safety standards are met and protect the ships, equipment and personnel throughout the process.
