Mid Michigan Diagnostics is seeking a quality Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part time, day shift position. You will be performing cardiology imaging procedures and providing quality images to the cardiologist for interpretation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Explaining procedures, addressing patient anxieties, and monitoring the physical well being during testing.
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately
- Ordering, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Calculating and mixing precise doses of radioactive tracers for patients
- Operating radiation-detecting cameras, processing digital images and providing data to cardiologists for interpretation
- Strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff and the environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of one year of Nuclear Medicine Experience
- Nuclear Medicine Credentialed NMTCB or ARRT Boards
- BLS Certified
- Experience with Digirad Cardius 2XPO preferred
