3x12 hours shift - every other weekend

Role Overview
As a Nurse Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your contributions directly support the RN in delivering high-quality care, responding to emergent situations, and fostering a compassionate patient experience. This role is essential to maintaining the standards of excellence at Henry Ford Health.

What You Will Do
- Assist the RN in providing patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.
- Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
- Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR
- Current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR
- Foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR
- Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification preferred.
