About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Director for Mental Health, located in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Obtain patient history.
Identify, document, implement, and formulate the patient care plan as determined by the patient's condition.
Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment; maintain awareness of the patient's condition and take appropriate action as needed.
Respond to life-saving situations, initiating emergency resuscitation measures, according to pediatric and adult resuscitation protocols.
Perform comprehensive assessments of patient/family members' learning needs and limitations.
