About the Position: This position is located at Weed Army Community Hospital om Ft. Irwin, California. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Determine and implement proper emergency interventions within scope of practice after identifying and interpreting maternal and/or fetal distress and newborns in the absence of a physician.
Recognize and execute nursing responsibilities related to technologies utilized in caring for the normal/high risk obstetrical and newborn patient.
Examine and assess obstetric patients and newborns.
Maintain invasive lines and dressings in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
Perform assignments of an advanced nature that require considerable extended experience or training.
