NURSE (CLINICAL/PSYCHIATRIC)

About the Position: This position is located William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Identify pending crisis situations and handle appropriately.

Administer many psychotropic and complex medications via the oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, topical, rectal, respiratory, intravenous routes.

Develop and initiate innovative teaching programs for patients requiring special approaches.

Identify patient problems, generate nursing diagnoses, design plans of care, write and implements nursing orders, evaluate nursing interventions, document patient’s status on a continual basis and revise plans of care accordingly.

Perform a comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and history to plan, provide and direct nursing care across the continuum of care.
