About the Position: This position is located within the Army Public Health Clinic, Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, New York. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Serve as a Community Health Nurse while maintaining responsibility for planning, coordination, and delivering comprehensive public health nursing programs throughout the installation community.

Conduct health education activities for service members, command leadership, supervisors, healthcare workers, etc.

Analyze statistical health data in collaboration with health promotion personnel to identify and address population-level health risk behaviors.

Support community health marketing initiatives through multimedia channels, specialized clinics, and health expositions to expand public health awareness.

Conduct environmental health inspections within childcare and youth facilities to identify safety hazards and determine staff educational requirements.

Evaluates client health status through comprehensive interviews, validated health risk appraisals, and physiological biometric measurements.

Deliver client-centered counseling to epidemiological affected individuals to encourage behavioral modifications and interrupt disease transmission chains.
