About the role

Are you passionate about caring for the elderly and working in a collaborative and professional environment? At Fundación Rey Ardid, we are looking to hire a NURSE at the Senior Residence located in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza).

What you'll do

• Healthcare and care assessment of new admissions and definition of the care plan.
• Management of medical records and outpatient consultations.
• Supervision, control, and administration of medication (injectables, tubes, oxygen, nasogastric/PEG feeding…).
• Control of the first aid kit (stock, expiration dates, authorizations) and material orders.
• Support in emergencies and management of hospital transfers if necessary.
• Coordination with the technical team and participation in meetings.
• Supervision of the dining service and communication with the kitchen for specific diets.
• Support in organizational tasks of the center (workloads, hygiene, bathing rotations…).
• Information and guidance to families in the absence of the Medical Direction.
• Fluid communication with nursing assistants and the pharmacy.

What we're looking for

• University degree in Nursing.
• Current registration with the Nursing College.
• Organizational capacity, initiative, orientation towards internal and external customers, effective communication, and flexibility.
• Sensitivity towards elderly people and their social circumstances.

Nice to have

• Training or knowledge in geriatrics, psychology, and mental illnesses.
• Competencies such as commitment, social understanding, and a global vision of the Foundation's values.

How you'll work

• Temporary contract, replacement
• Working day and schedule to be agreed upon with the selected person
• Salary: According to the Dependency Care Agreement in Aragón. Plus for holidays and night shifts.
