Nurse
Founded in 1905 and serving nearly 1,000 day and boarding students from across the United States and all over the world, McCallie is one of the country’s premier independent schools and a national leader in educating boys in grades 6-12. McCallie takes an expansive view of education, seeking to form the whole boy. In his journey to manhood, McCallie comes alongside the student and supports his mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional development.
McCallie seeks an experienced nurse to join the Student Health Center team to support students, campers, and others in the McCallie community. This individual will actively cultivate good working relationships between the Health Center and students, parents, residential community members, and area health care providers.
We are looking to hire for a weekday evening shift: 3-11 PM Monday through Friday.
However, we are considering various shift options:
- one full-time nurse to work 3-11PM Monday through Friday;
- two part-time nurses to share that shift - working 2-3 days per week and rotating Fridays;
- one full-time 3 days per week 11AM-11PM shared with another part-time nurse.
We are flexible for the right team as long as we are able to cover all our shifts.
Coverage is required year-round while summer camp programs are in session and during the school year when school is in session, or when the dormitories are open.
This is a full-time twelve month, hourly non-exempt position. Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits.
