JOB DESCRIPTION OF REGISTER NURSE

Reports to: Clinical Director

Supervises: Chrissy White

DESCRIPTION FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Description: Under immediate supervision, supports providers and the Clinical Director in provision or client care: includes recording vital signs, discussing chief health concerns, performing testing and assists with procedures and documentation.

• Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide client education regarding medications, diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive health measures, disease management, and other identified healthcare needs.

  • Assess clients’ understanding of health education and reinforce instructions as appropriate.

• General Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of nursing principles, clinical practices, and medical terminology.

  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability to provide effective client health education.

  • Knowledge of medication administration, infection prevention, basic clinical assessment, and patient safety principles.

• Educational and Licensure Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the State of Ohio.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • First Aid certification as required by the organization.

  • Relevant clinical experience preferred.

Amount of Travel: Minimal, mostly confined to the Ohio Area.

Salary Range: based on experience
