Nurse (Part-Time, Weekends, Multiple shifts)
- Provide nursing care according to physicians' orders and in compliance with recognized nursing practices, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and actively promote an independent lifestyle with residents.
- Identify and report changes in residents' medical and behavioral condition. Participate in the development and monitoring of resident care plans according to their assessed needs.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents, and help to coordinate nursing care with other departments, agencies, or participants in the residents' caregiving teams.
- Provide daily status reports to the Director of Health Services about community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies to promote communication and collaboration in resident care.
- Current valid Illinois nursing license (LPN or RN).
- Passion for helping people in a compassionate and empathetic way.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a care team.
- Experience working with senior citizens preferred.
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies in our community.
