Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Full-Time (3734)

Valley Vista is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide medical services primarily within its outpatient substance use disorder treatment program.

The provider will evaluate and treat patients presenting with medical complaints, complete medical evaluations associated with admission and ongoing treatment, and provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including patient evaluation, prescribing, medication management, monitoring, and follow-up.

The provider will work collaboratively with nursing, counseling, case management, recovery support, admissions, and other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring medical and behavioral health needs.

While this position is primarily assigned to Outpatient Services, the provider will also support Valley Vista's inpatient and residential programs as operational and patient-care needs arise. This may include medical evaluations, treatment of medical concerns, admission-related medical services, medication management, provider coverage, and consultation with nursing and clinical staff.

The provider will also participate in Valley Vista's medical on-call coverage as assigned and may provide clinical consultation and guidance for patient-care issues occurring outside regularly scheduled hours.
