Nursing Professors and Researchers

About the role

At the University of Deusto, we continue to develop the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at our Bilbao and Donostia/San Sebastián Campuses.

From the Faculty of Health Sciences, we want to incorporate into our staff, PDI personnel (teachers and researchers) with full Academic and Management dedication to the university project.

We identify as the main functions the exercise of Teaching and Research duties, while also assuming Management tasks within the academic field.

What you'll get

Joining the team of the Faculty of Health Sciences at its Bilbao and Donostia/San Sebastián Campuses. Economic conditions will be in accordance with the dedication, experience, and knowledge provided by the candidates.

Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Doctorate in Nursing.
• Possession of a Doctorate degree will be valued, as well as a positive evaluation by an Official Quality Agency (ANECA / UNIBASQ) for the role of Contracted Doctor Professor or Private University Professor. In the event of not possessing this accreditation, accreditation as an Assistant Doctor Professor will be valued.
• Experience as a University Professor and Researcher in the areas of Health Sciences, and in Nursing in particular.
• Proficiency in Basque in order to be able to teach classes at the Donostia/San Sebastián Campus
• Linguistic competence in English will be valued.
• We will value experience in participation in tutorial plans or degree coordination.
• We are looking for people with a clear vocation for teaching and for the profession, empathy, capacity for teamwork, capacity for adaptation, and identification with the identity and mission of UD.
