Do you want a job where you can make a difference in people’s lives? As Nursing Support Assistant, you will perform a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the nursing department and the administrative team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date individual health records, portable files, tracking logs, and required documentation.
Support nursing operations by obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing medical and clinic notes, and escalating concerns or abnormalities to the nursing team.
Coordinate medical records, physician orders, standing orders, prescriptions, pharmacy needs, and admission documentation.
Monitor nursing supplies and equipment inventory and communicate reordering needs to the appropriate team members.
Assist with audits, pharmacy check-ins, fit testing, and other quality and compliance activities.
Provide administrative support to the nursing team, including faxing and communicating information and updating training materials
Answer the nursing phone line, address questions within scope, and route calls to the appropriate nursing staff.
Collaborate closely with nurses and the HSM to help ensure individuals receive timely, organized, and well-coordinated healthcare support.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with Windows-based computer systems preferred
Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
Reliable, responsible, and caring nature
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
