The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within a specific unit and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by ancillary staff. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Required:
- Associate Degree required, preferred
Preferred:
- BSN preferred
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 3 yrs hospital nursing experience
LICENSURE
- REGISTERED NURSE
CERTIFICATIONS
- BLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) PALS
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
- NIH STROKE (within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date)
- EKG Testing TNCC
