Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) Lab Assistant - MOE Secondary School (Job Reference: TSTKWE-2026-08-001)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and dependable Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operations of the Nutrition and Food Science Laboratory, while providing administrative support in an MOE Secondary School near Commonwealth MRT. You will work closely with the HOD/LH-Science and Vice Principal, Administration Managers/Executives and School Leaders to ensure smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities

❖ Daily cleaning and maintenance of Kitchen 1 and Kitchen 2 at Level 2 (general floor area, kitchen tops, tabletops, kitchen appliances and equipment) at 2A Margaret Drive, Singapore 149295.

❖ Preparation of relevant kitchen appliances and equipment for the Nutrition and Food Science practical lessons and examinations.

❖ Preparation of raw materials and ingredients for the Nutrition and Food Science practical lessons and examinations.

❖ Maintain and track fixed assets and non-expandable high-risk inventories in Kitchen 1 and Kitchen 2.

❖ Perform general office duties during school holidays.

❖ Perform any other assigned duties assigned from time to time, when required.

Job Requirements

● Applicants should have completed primary school education

● 3 years of prior experience in food handling, kitchen, or simple administrative duties in similar educational institutions.

● Should be able to work efficiently and independently.

Employment Details

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027.

Location: Commonwealth MRT

Working Hours:

● Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

● Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

● Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
