Summary
Maintains food labs and assists with ingredient prep for practical lessons in a school setting, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
Job Description:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of cookery rooms, food labs, equipment and work areas.
- Assist teachers with ingredient preparation for practical lessons.
- Measure, portion and prepare ingredients as required.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock of food ingredients and supplies.
- Clean and tidy food labs after lessons, including workbenches, sinks and floors.
- Dispose of rubbish and maintain a clean learning environment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the school supervisors or school leaders.
Requirements:
- Able to speak and understand simple English.
- Minimum primary school education.
- Prior experience as an NFS Assistant in schools ispreferred.
- Must maintain strict hygiene standards when handling food ingredients.
- Service-oriented, meticulous, and efficient in completing tasks.
- Non-Singapore Citizens/PRs must hold a valid MOM-issued Employment Pass throughout the contract period.
