π― Position Summary
The OA/CTS Director provides leadership and oversight for the Outreach & Admissions and Career Transition Services departments. This role is responsible for driving student recruitment, strengthening community and employer partnerships, achieving placement outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team dedicated to helping students successfully transition into employment, higher education, military service, apprenticeships, or advanced training.
π Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop OA/CTS teams to achieve recruitment, placement, and performance goals.
- Develop strategic partnerships with employers, educational institutions, workforce agencies, community organizations, and local leaders.
- Oversee student recruitment, admissions coordination, career transition services, and placement activities.
- Build employment and work-based learning opportunities through employer outreach and community engagement.
- Monitor performance data, identify trends, and implement strategies to meet or exceed Department of Labor and company goals.
- Recruit, train, mentor, evaluate, and support department staff while fostering a culture of accountability and success.
- Ensure compliance with Job Corps policies, the Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH), Department of Labor regulations, and program integrity standards.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Represent Woodland Job Corps Center at community events, career fairs, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure students receive high-quality services and successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with Center leadership and departments to promote student achievement and continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports, analyze results, and provide timely information to leadership, Corporate Office, and Department of Labor.
