OB Director (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced OB Director (RN) to provide clinical and operational leadership for obstetric nursing services in Hancock, Michigan. This senior-level opportunity is ideal for a nursing leader with a strong foundation in Labor & Delivery who is prepared to guide teams responsible for high-quality maternal and newborn care.
The OB Director will oversee nursing operations, support clinical standards, promote staff development, and collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare leadership. This position offers an opportunity to combine hands-on knowledge of obstetric care with meaningful leadership responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NRP certification
- AWHONN-EFM
- AWHONN-POEP
- STABLE certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare
- Previous leadership experience within Labor & Delivery, obstetrics, maternal health, or a related clinical environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team leadership skills

The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse who combines a strong Labor & Delivery background with effective healthcare leadership skills. They should be comfortable guiding an OB nursing team, supporting clinical excellence, developing staff, and working collaboratively across disciplines to maintain a safe and patient-centered environment for mothers and newborns.
Compensation
$101,000 – $137,000 annually
