OCC Security Controller
The role:
The OCC Security Controller is responsible for the real-time monitoring, coordination, and management of security operations across the high-speed rail network. Operating within the Operations Control Center (OCC), this role ensures the safety and security of passengers, staff, assets, and infrastructure by responding promptly to incidents, coordinating security personnel, and maintaining close communication with law enforcement and emergency services.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitor the real-time status of CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
- Initiate ad hoc measures in response to security emergencies.
- Maintain an accurate log of security incidents for review and analysis.
- Monitor fire protection systems and promptly escalate alarms or irregularities.
- Liaise with the Maintenance Contractor, Operations teams, and governmental security and emergency services.
Your profile/ qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in security management.
- Experience in the transit or railway sector.
- Strong commitment to safety and security.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as relevant IT systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
