Occupational Risk Prevention Technician (Environment and Health & Safety)

About the role

At Marlex Professionals, we are collaborating with a consolidated company in the industrial sector that currently needs to incorporate an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in Baix Empordà, in the area between Verges and Pals.

What you'll do

If you are the selected candidate, you will provide support to the Environment and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Manager and you will be in charge of carrying out the following functions:

• You will manage the day-to-day waste management and control the Solvent Recovery Plant.
• You will perform internal environmental audits and attend external audits and the legal OHS audit, implementing any resulting improvements.
• You will manage incidents and non-conformities of the Environment and OHS systems: opening, analysis, follow-up, and closure.
• You will detect risks and plan actions to resolve them.
• You will manage PPE: delivery, control, and follow-up.
• You will manage occupational incidents and accidents: report preparation, investigation, implementation of actions, and closure.
• You will prepare the OHS Committee meetings and follow up on the proposals.
• You will supervise and control subcontracted company personnel in maintenance works and new installations.
• You will participate in projects related to Environment and OHS.
• You will comply with Quality, Hygiene, Environment, and Occupational Risk Prevention regulations, as well as internal regulations.

You are the ideal candidate if...

• You have training from a Vocational Training Cycle of Intermediate Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (Higher Degree will be valued).
• You have 1-2 years of experience as an OHS technician.
• You are an organized, decisive person with follow-up capacity.
