Occupational Therapist Assistant - Pediatric Home Health - Boerne / Hill Country

Job Summary:

Assists in providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments in a home, school or daycare setting.

Essential Functions:

• Help clients with rehabilitative activities and exercises in their treatment plan, as prescribed by an occupational therapist
• Teach patients how to move from bed to wheelchair and how to utilize muscles.
• Monitor individual’s activities to ensure they are performed correctly
• Record client’s progress and conditions
• Alter treatments as needed if intended effect is not evident
