Occupational Therapist- Full Time

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health | Full-Time

Preferred Care Home Health is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Therapy team and provide quality, patient-centered care in the home setting.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, including activities of daily living and work-related skills.

• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.

• Help patients improve strength, coordination, range of motion, and independence.

• Educate patients and families on therapy programs and adaptive equipment.

• Communicate with physicians and members of the clinical team.

• Complete timely and accurate documentation.

• Participate in case conferences and other required agency activities.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), as applicable.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current, active Florida OT license.

• Minimum of 1 year of OT experience.

• Home health experience preferred but not required.

• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a community-based caseload.
