In this role, you'll plan and deliver engaging activity services for our patients, contributing directly to their treatment goals and overall well-being. • Responsible for observing and applying sound judgment in patients' physical and mental conditions/needs.
• Document and communicate changes in patients' appearance, behavior, and ability to work towards treatment plan goals.
• Provide an assessment of psychosocial/leisure and recreational skills development/deficiency.
• Assist patients in achieving their optimum level of independent functioning.
• Plan and implement activity therapy for the assigned patient case load within the facility.
• Model and teach patients appropriate social, coping, and stress-management techniques.
• Contribute to treatment plans with specific goals and therapeutic interventions.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

• Education & Licensure: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in occupational therapy. Certification or licensure by the state of Illinois and/or national governing body in the following areas: OTR/L
• Experience: One (1) year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques, and understanding of mental illness preferred.
• Additional Skill Requirements: May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Compensation:

We are seeking Part-time and PRN Occupational Therapists. Compensation ranges from $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on employment status, experience, qualifications, and skill level. Join us as our Occupational Therapist or Expressive Therapist!
