Trinity Health Of New England has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven Behavioral Health Team. This position will support Johnson Memorial Hospital and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.
The Behavioral Health Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic interventions, develops individualized treatment plans, and helps patients build the skills needed to achieve greater independence and well-being.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate therapeutic activities and skill-building interventions
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients and families on coping and life skills strategies
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AOTA accredited school.
- Current State of CT license.
- Excellent communication Skills
