What You'll Do
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and treatment plans
- Help residents improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
- Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
- Provide encouragement and support to residents and their families
What You'll Need
- Associate's degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
