Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Ware Presbyterian Village | Oxford, PA

Benchmark Therapies is looking for a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Ware Presbyterian Village, a senior living community in Oxford, Pennsylvania.

This could be a great fit for a COTA who enjoys working with older adults and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative therapy team.

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to provide thoughtful, individualized care while helping residents maintain their independence, build confidence, and stay involved in the daily activities that matter most to them.

At Benchmark, we believe therapists do their best work when they feel trusted, respected, and supported by the people around them. We value clinical judgment, strong relationships, and creating an environment where our clinicians can focus on providing quality care.

What You'll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

  • Help residents improve or maintain independence with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities

  • Support residents in developing strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills

  • Follow individualized treatment plans while recognizing each resident's unique needs and goals

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team

  • Collaborate with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team to support resident progress

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health

What We're Looking For

  • Current Pennsylvania COTA license

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • A genuine interest in working with older adults

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care

  • Someone who is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently while being part of a team

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living is helpful, but not required

Full-Time Benefits

We want our team members to feel supported both at work and outside of it. Our full-time benefits include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) with unlimited rollover of unused hours

  • Six paid holidays

  • 401(k) retirement plan

  • CEU360 access for continuing education and professional development

  • A supportive leadership team that values communication, collaboration, and clinical independence

A Little About Benchmark Therapies

Benchmark Therapies is a therapist-led rehabilitation company providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to senior living communities.

We're intentionally small enough to know our team members, listen to their ideas, and offer the kind of personal support that can be difficult to find in larger organizations.

We believe in treating our employees with the same care and respect we want them to show the residents they serve.

If you're a COTA looking for a full-time opportunity where you can make a difference and feel genuinely supported, we'd love to hear from you!
