Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide skilled rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role supports patients in improving safety, independence, daily function, and quality of life across home, outpatient, assisted living, independent living, board and care, and other community-based settings.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions according to the established care plan and within OTA scope of practice.
  • Help patients build skills in ADLs, IADLs, mobility, cognition, safety awareness, and functional independence.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, adaptive techniques, fall prevention, energy conservation, and safe use of equipment.
  • Communicate patient progress, changes in condition, care barriers, and safety concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist and care team.
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation in compliance with organizational, payer, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
