ODM Materials Manager - Contract
Key Responsibilities
1. ODM Partner Management
• Own end-to-end material readiness for assigned ODM partners – act as the single point of accountability for supply continuity and production execution
• Drive ODM accountability on build commitments; escalate unresolved constraints with urgency and clear recovery timelines
• Conduct regular business reviews with ODM planning and procurement teams to align on build schedules, material status, and risk posture
2. MRP & CTB Execution
• Drive MRP alignment between demand signals and ODM material planning systems
• Manage CTB (Commit-to-Build) cycles – track material availability against build plans, identify and escalate gating components proactively
• Manage complex multi-level BOMs; translate material risks into actionable recovery plans with clear owners and timelines
• Monitor inventory health, E&O exposure, and material lifecycle transitions across assigned programs
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Interface daily with commodity managers, NPI teams, logistics, PO management, and engineering to resolve supply constraints
• Support NPI material readiness from program introduction through production ramp
• Communicate supply health and risk posture concisely to senior leadership; maintain live material risk reporting
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in materials management, supply chain execution, or ODM program management in the tech industry
• Direct ODM experience – must have worked hands-on with ODM planning and procurement teams
• Proven experience managing complex BOMs and CTB cycles in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong MRP and supply planning knowledge; ability to act on demand/supply data to ensure material availability
• Mandarin proficiency – required for direct engagement with APAC-based ODM partners and suppliers
• Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills; able to synthesise supply status into clear leadership updates
• Ability to navigate conflict and drive accountability with external partners under time pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Hyperscale data centre or Tier-1 server ODM experience (e.g. Quanta, Foxconn, Wiwynn, Inventec, Hyve)
• Familiarity with server and infrastructure hardware – compute, storage, networking rack assemblies and components
• Experience managing supply chains across APAC, particularly Taiwan and China where key ODM partners are based
• APICS/ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) or equivalent
