The Account Manager will develops new and existing Technology Licensing partners, achieve individual sales quota and ensure that complete and accurate information is maintained in the CRM database (ex. Salesforce).
Responsibilities:
- Constantly identify, recruit and develop Technology Licensing partners in the assigned Territory.
- Close new Technology Licensing agreements in assigned territory and line of business.
- Build a strong business relationship with partners or potential partners.
- Be up to date with all existing technologies from the Technology Licensing portfolio.
- Achieve individual Annual Revenue Targets in the assigned territory for the specific line of business.
- Drafts, presents and negotiates business proposals, contract terms, prices internally approved thru the entire sales cycle in order to sign an agreement with the partner.
- Develop assigned accounts by growing the actual business, as well as, up-selling/cross-selling them new technologies, in liaison with Technical Account Managers and Marketing team.
- Cooperate with Bitdefender marketing team to setup and deploy specific marketing campaigns and also to develop case studies and references from its partners portfolio.
- Make sure that all assigned Technology Licensing partners within his territory and line of business are compliant with their existing agreements and have there are no issues or disputes between the two parties by working closely with Sales Support, Legal, Technical Support and Finance.
- Build enough sales pipeline to achieve individual sales target. Goal is to have a strong and accurate pipeline
- for current and following calendar year.
- Active participating in relevant trade shows, conferences or other events to represent Bitdefender brand, promote Bitdefender technologies and generate leads.
- Follow-up on all assigned leads and ensure the CRM is maintained with current and accurate information regarding all activities (calls, meetings, tasks) for leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities.
- Maintain a 1 year sales forecast with an accuracy of at least 90% in CRM.
- Be operationally excellent in the day-to-day running of the business including (but not limited to) pipeline development, forecasting, account planning, sales cycle management, contract management, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing.
- Responsible to fill and submit all requested reports and use specific tools to evaluate the business development and sales activity.
